Solar Saving for Half a Million

Almost half a million UK rooftops are now fitted with solar panels. Cummulatively generating 1.72 gigawatts of energy.
These homes will be less exposed to the current and planned energy price increases. Paul Barwell, Chief Executive of the Solar Trade Association, said: "People fed up with their energy supplier could do no better than switching to supplying themselves.
"The more people who invest in solar energy today, the quicker the price will come down tomorrow.
"We need to keep going until solar power becomes cheaper than retail electricity prices and everyone can have access to cheap, green and stable electricity bills."
