Money down the blocked drain - nothing else!
Debris from the re-surfacing of Kingsland Road re-blocked the gulleys, just in time for the next cloudburst!
The work on Kingsland Road happened to co-incide with time for the gulleys to be cleaned.
Unfortunately it became a debacle, as just how long it can be between services was demonstrated by this find of construction debris from the building of several houses near Fishery Passage…
The Facebook discussion on Kingsland Road's blocked drain because of resurfacing debris led to people raising drains issues elsewhere in Boxmoor. So, while this was a hot topic, we requested residents flagged up any others, and Cllr Allen mapped over 15 gulleys in Boxmoor.
