Liberal Democrats Deliver on the Fairer Tax Commitment in Their Manifesto

Liberal Democrats in Government are delivering Fairer Tax.

£600 less tax than you paid under Labour this April - and now £700 less tax than you paid under Labour next April.

AND we've persuaded the Tories that we must hold the top tax rate at 45% - 5% more than Labour's 40% rate (apart from that short five week period under Labour when it was 50%)

This, together with an allowances cap for the very rich, means that thanks to Liberal Democrat policies the lower paid pay less tax while the higher paid pay more.

And large numbers of the low paid have now come out of the income tax system altogether. Fair enough?
