Labour's Shadow Chancellor, Ed Balls predicted that we would be back in recession by now.

Instead it's been announced that the economy has grown by 0.6% in the second quarter. That might not sound like much, but it's actually as much growth as was originally predicted for the whole year!

So today is definitely a bright day for Britain and the Liberal Democrats. Sorry to disappoint, Ed!
