Phil McDowell who combines running the family business, plus another company of his own in nearby Pitstone, knows this part of the Chilterns well from his childhood.

He is delighted to have been elected as the Dacorum Borough Councillor for Aldbury and Wigginton and has already made the acquaintance of the councillors on Aldbury and Wigginton Parish Councils.

He expects to work closely with the two parish councila, as well as with Tring Town Council - of which he is also a Member - and with Nick Hollinghurst, the local hertfordshire County Council.

With a degree in Law and another in Biology, he has the technical and legal background to combine with his personal knowledge and interests in the environment and the natural world to make him a formidable campaigner on issues such as sustainability and climate change.
