Help where it's needed to encourage new jobs

If you started up a new business in one of 6 English Regions (plus N.Ireland, Scotland and Wales) any time after 22 June 2010 you can benefit from a NIC Holiday worth £5000 per new employee up to a total of 10.

This mean a new business, in Middlesborough say, could save up to £50,000 in terms of employers national insurance contributions.

This still operates and new businesses continue to benefit right up till 5 September 2013.
