With the closing date for applications fast approaching, it is vital that parents make their applications on time.

Leaflets explaining the Under 11s process were distributed to families at the beginning of November. They were posted directly to families of 2015 reception aged children and distributed by schools to children in year 2 in infant schools and year 4 in first schools.
The easiest way to apply is online. Everything you need is available at www.hertsdirect.org/admissions

By applying online, you can:

• change your application at any time up to the closing date
• access your school offer sooner
• accept your school allocation online

The system is quick, secure and easy to use and almost 99 per cent of parents applied this way last year.

The application process for nursery schools and classes will open on 9 February 2015 and parents will be sent nursery literature directly in February.
